Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 29 September 2026
OrbisEdg wants this website to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, screen magnification, or a reduced-motion setting. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page starts with a “Skip to content” link and uses a logical heading structure.
- Menus, carousels, filters, tabs, questions and forms all work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Images have text alternatives; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and buttons are checked for colour contrast against their backgrounds.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, entrance animations are switched off and the 3D globe holds still.
- Form fields have labels, and the message you see after sending the form is announced to screen readers.
- Layouts adapt to phones, tablets and desktop screens, and text can be zoomed.
How we check it
We test every page with the axe-core accessibility engine at desktop and phone sizes, and we check the main journeys (menus, contact form, case study filters, FAQ) using only a keyboard. The last full check was on 29 September 2026.
Known limits
- The map on our contact page is provided by Google and may not be fully accessible. Our full address and a direct Google Maps link are always shown as text.
- The 3D globe on the home page is decorative and carries no information of its own.
